We are dedicated to making Swiss road safety education accessible to everyone. Our mission is to provide a high-quality, engaging, and fully English-language VKU course for Zurich's international community.
Our Commitment to Quality
We believe that learning should be effective and enjoyable. Our course is not just about meeting a legal requirement; it's about equipping you with the real-world skills and confidence to be a safe and responsible driver in Switzerland. We use modern teaching methods, local Zurich-based examples, and a friendly, interactive approach.
Official Certificate Recognition
The VKU certificate you earn with us is the official, federally recognized document used in the licensing process. For a 2026 learner, completion is required before practical-test registration; from 2027 it generally comes before theory-test registration. It is valid throughout all of Switzerland and Liechtenstein, giving you the peace of mind that your training meets the highest national standards.

Meet Your Instructor
Dario Lichtensteiger
Certified Driving Instructor | 15 Years Experience
Dario brings more than 15 years of driving-instructor experience to the classroom. His work at the Lucerne University of Education included a master’s thesis on how driving competence develops. That interest in learning is part of DriveLab’s teaching approach: understanding the reason behind a safe decision, then connecting it to situations you encounter on the road.
The course is taught in English, with room for discussion and humour. Bring a question about a junction, a visibility problem or another traffic situation you have found difficult. You can use it to connect the course topics with your own preparation, without needing to share a personal incident.
