There are two items that are non-negotiable. Without them, you cannot be issued your official certificate.
1. **Your Swiss Learner's Permit (Lernfahrausweis)**
This is the most important document. The VKU is legally tied to your learner's permit number, and the instructor must verify it in person.
2. **A Valid Photo ID**
This can be your Swiss residence permit (Ausländerausweis), your passport, or a national ID card. The name must match the name on your learner's permit.
## Recommended Items to Bring
While not mandatory, these items will make your course experience more comfortable:
